A Successful Meeting of the EAC Heads of State Summit

The Summit of the EAC Heads of State has successfully made landmark decisions resolving all the key issues that have not been resolved by the EAC Council of Ministers. By resolving the outstanding issues relating to land ownership, right of residence and the identity cards as not constituting official travel documents in the region, the Summit has restored the momentum in the process of regional integration.
